Observify content strategy

The challenge

Observify was a media monitoring and social listening SaaS tool designed to help brands monitor and measure their sentiment online. Thanks to tailored tracking and easy-to-digest sentiment reports, Observify customers were able to get the edge on competitors and analyse their reputations at a glance. To familiarise prospective customers and existing clients with the power of social listening and the insight it can provide, I designed and executed a content strategy that showed the platform in action.

The approach

Identifying timely topics and issues, I used the Observify product to monitor these topics and craft zeitgeist blog content around them, demonstrating Observify’s features in action. Based on insights found using the product, blog posts harnessed current events, public affairs and pop culture to convey the benefits of social listening in an engaging way. We then published and disseminated it as content marketing to inspire our customers and aid conversion of leads.

The solution

From Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign to an analysis of whether Instagram Stories would surpass Snapchat as the premier daily video sharing platform (TikWhat?), there was nothing I didn’t try to cover in this crazy year. Oddly, thinking about writing these pieces doesn’t just make me smile – it makes me feel…proud. And I say that not in relation to the brief or the work. It’s because I was constantly pulling rabbits out of hats I didn’t know I had.
